Located northeast of Central Bankok, Khan Na Yao is mostly an agricultural area, in fact the translation of Khan Na Yao is long paddy-field ridge.

As well as agricultural concerns this district also houses the busy Bangchan Industrial Estate which is a hub of international companies and factories.

Other notable things to visit are Wat Rassattadhum, shopping at Fashion Island and leisure-time at Siam Park City.

Siam Park City is a world-class amusement and water park. Founded in 1980 it the oldest amusement park complex in the whole of Southeast Asia. Located near Suvarnamhumi Airport, the leisure complex was the fist to have a suspended looping coaster with five inversions, seven water-slides which were once the highest in the world, and in the 1980’s it had the largest wave pool on the planet.

Fashion Island can be found right outside the center of Bangkok on Ramintra Road. It is a huge mall that also features a monorail and its own amusement park.

Khan Na Yao is situated on the outskirts of Bangkok and does not have great transport links into the city and the rest of Bangkok. However, it is a big commuter belt and many housing estates have been developed to house workers who travel into the center each day.

Property, especially housing is relatively inexpensive as far as Bangkok goes, and this area is particular popular for first time buyers.
