Onnut Sub District

On Nut is one of three sub-districts of of San Luang District. It is most well known for On Nut Road which runs through the district. On Nut Road comes off of Sukhumvit Road near the On Nut BTS Skytrain station.

Just off of On Nut Road is the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy. If you have ever wanted to learn to cook Thai food, this might just be the case. They offer reasonably priced beginner courses of four hours long to get you started. They also offer vegetarian courses.

Cooking schools seem to be popular here, as you can also check out Pink Chili Cooking School Bangkok. Unlike the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy which offers programmes to become chefs, Pink Chili is solely focused on short term courses teaching Thai cooking.

They offer a four hour course that you can take either in the morning or the afternoon. The course includes a trip to a Thai market to learn about buying ingredients for your dishes and you can choose how spicy you would like to make your dishes. Each day of the week features different dishes so you can choose just what you want to learn to cook.

One of the condo projects worth looking at is Artemis Condo Sukhumvit 77. The project is 30 stories high and has over 670 units. The condos are considered reasonably priced and are conveniently located near On Nut BTS Station.

There are also many places to shop including the Big C Extra On Nut shopping complex. This facility occupies a square city block with virtually everything you could want.
