Thon Buri District is made up of seven sub-districts. Samre is one of these. It has a wide border with the Chao Phraya River and also partly borders with sister sub-district Bukkalo.

As might be expected with such stunning views over the river and into central Bangkok, this is an ideal spot for both developments and resorts.

The Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort is located roughly where Khlong Bang Nam Chon meets the Chao Phraya River. The resort sits on eleven acres of land and has 281 guest rooms and 95 suites. The resort is a spa and wellness centre as well and also organises wedding celebrations.

The Supalai River Resort is actually a condominium development near the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The complex is 39 stories high with 906 units. The units range in size from studio up to four bedrooms.

Overall, the median price of units in the Supalai River Resort are 9.3 million THB. There is a healthy growth rate as prices rose by 17%. Rental prices are a median 22,000 THB and are returning a 2.9% annual yield.

The median prices of both sales and rentals are well above the median prices in general for Thon Buri. However, both are about 26% to 27% lower than the median prices for Bangkok.
