Samsennai Sub District

DISTRICT: Phaya Thai

Sam Sen Nai is a sub-district of Phaya Thai and is located in Central Bangkok with great transportation links to the rest of the capital. The BTS Sukhumvit Line runs through Sam Sen Nai with the MRT service not far away also. Stations in the vicinity include, Sanam Pao, Ari, and Saphan Khwai.

This makes Sam Sen Nai a highly desirable place to live, and with its central location real estate is at a premium.

There are also some Thai villages in the area that make accommodation more affordable including, Laem Tong, Saphan Khwai, Suk Phaibun, Phibun Watthana, and a Bangkok Housing Village.

Towards the east side of this sub-district you will find many army buildings as it is home to the Royal Thai Army, which also includes the impressive Army Stadium.

As well as swish condominium developments there are assorted government offices as well, all adding to the architecture of the area.

To the south of the sub-district can be found Phramongkuthlag Hospital and to the west is Vichaiyut Medical Center so healthcare too is well taken care of in Sam Sen Nai.

There is not a plethora of shopping malls or department stores in this area of Bangkok but there is a Big C superstore in the vicinity. However, there are plenty of smaller shopping outlets that offer a wide range of goods and services to suit nearly every need.

Sam Sen Nai is not a particularly great tourist destination, its residents do however have the center of Bangkok on their doorstep so as an area to commute to other parts of the city it is ideal.
