Khlong Khwang is one of seven sub-districts that make up Phasi Charoen District on the west side of the Chao Phraya River. Khlong Khwang is mostly residential without many tourist attractions. There is another sub-district of the same name in nearby province of Nonthaburi.

There are a few temples in Khlong Khwang including Wat Maprao and Wat Talom. Wat Talom is an international temple with monks from several ASEAN countries such as Cambodia and Myanmar. They also are associated with the Wat Talom School.

In addition to temples, there is the Saint Peter's Temple which is a place of catholic worship. Though it has a long history, the detail are not well recorded. You can reach the temple by bus or by boat.

One of the most prominent retail outlets in the sub-district is Sweet Palettes. This place is all about shoes and women’s shoes specifically. The also offer handbags and clothing. You can buy online or visit their shop.

If you enjoy seafood, then there are some restaurants in Khlong Khwang to visit. Shrimp Fishing Charan 13 features shrimp as you might gather by the name. It’s a good sized restaurant with reasonable prices. Mae Khlong Seafood is very popular so for the best range of choice you may want to get there early. The owners do the cooking and one of their signature dishes is steamed mud crab with molten crab roe.
