Saen Saep is a sub-district of Min Buri and is located to the northeast of the center of Bangkok and is one of the outlying sub-districts of Bangkok. Being so far out of the center of Bangkok the area does not have BTS or MRT coverage and the only way to access Saen Saep is by bus or car.

Saen Saep has some popular villages that are in the area, Holiday Garden Village, Anan Samakkhi Village, Suwinthawong Housing, Phet Mani Village, Simin Village, and Praphawan Home 2.

These villages contain a mixture of new houses and traditional Thai wooden houses, and are a lot more inexpensive than Central Bangkok.

If you like entertainment then close by is Siam City Park, which offers perfect fun and games for the whole family. There are many scary and thrilling rides in both the amusement and water parks.

Minburi Market is a fantastic place to get your fresh fruit and vegetables and there are also some great food stalls selling freshly prepared Thai dishes. 

For those who enjoy golf then Thanont Golf View and Sport Club is close by, the 18-hole course is flat but challenging and there is plenty of water to avoid. As well as the golf there is a great sports club, and a prestigious housing development on the same site.

Situated right on a canal is Wat Bang Peng Tai and it is one of the most interesting temples in the area. Often as well as the architectural delights the temple also offers an outdoor market selling all manner of foods and clothing.

Saen Saep is close to Suvarnabhumi Airport and is a popular place to live for people who work at the airport, plus also commuters who travel to work in Bangkok each day.
