Wat Thep Sirin sub-district is one of the five sub-districts that make up the district of Pom Prap Sattru Phai. At one end its border extends to Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem. At the other end is Worachak Road. Its border parallels sister sub-district Pom Prap.

Debsirin School is a respected boys secondary school. Its graduates include King Ananda Mahidol and Tunku Abdul Rahman who is regarded as Malaysia's founding father. The school has graduated over 70 cabinet ministers including a number of prime ministers.

The school was founded in 1885 by KIng Rama V named after his mother Desindra Queen Ramphoei Phamaraphirom. When he school first opened there were only about 50 students. The Debsirin Alumni Association which operate under Royal patronage includes several prime ministers as well as members of the Royal family.

If you have a sweet tooth or enjoy baked goods, then go to the Little Home Bakery. They are well established with several outlets around Bangkok including Wat Thep Sirin. They started nearby with a single oven in front of a house on Worachak Road. Today they have 30 branches in Bangkok including some within department stores. They make over 100 items focused on traditional flavours with a unique style.
