The district of Dusit is best known for its architecture, and there are many important buildings that are to be found there. One such building is the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall which was yet another residence of King Chulalongkorn. In fact the Throne Hall became the very first parliament building of Thailand, built between 1907 and 1915 by an Italian architect.
Right next to this grand building you can find the wonderful Suan Amporn Park, and across the street from there is the magnificent Dusit Zoo, which was the first of its kind in Thailand.
