Suriyawong is located in Central Bangkok and is a sub-district to Bang Rak. Located close to Lumphini Park it enjoys the great public transportation system of the MRT and the BTS.

There are many five-star hotels located in prestigious part of the city, including the Pullman Bangkok, Crowne Plaza Bangkok, and the Holiday Inn.

Of course the area around Suriyawong is home to the notorious Patpong Night Market and the surrounding red-light district. Which adds color and excitement to the night people who hang around after sunset.

Suriyawong is also popular with tourists as it has many great temples and other things to see. There are also some fine boutique type shopping outlets, that offer local arts and crafts and luxury Western goods.

If you enjoy eating and drinking there is a wide choice of great restaurants and some superb street food that you can find located in the many small sois.

Suriyawong really come alive at night with many great bars, discos and clubs. Try the Bamboo Bar, Maggie Choo’s and Tapas.

Living in Suriyawong is highly desirable and therefore the prices reflect this, with condo and apartment rentals being some of the most expensive in the capital.

Although Suriyawong is not the cheapest place in Bangkok to live, this is overshadowed by the great transport links and all the amenities that can be found on the doorstep.
